Foundation Brake Test
This test is conducted before homologation and certification to evaluate the fundamental performance of the vehicle’s braking system. It ensures compliance with regulatory standards and helps identify any initial design or performance issues in braking components.

CSFC Setup and Trail Development & Certification
Ensure mileage on 40, 50, 60 kmph with constant speed.

EMI & EMC Test
Emissions (EMI), Immunity (EMS) and Radio Frequency Testing

Steering Effort & TCD/ TCCD Test
Evaluates steering effort, return ability, and stability for safe handling. Ensures accurate LHS and RHS steering angle as per specification.

CMVR Type Approval-Vehicle Level Tests
Co-ordination for all static and dynamic tests with part verification
Additional Tests:
1) Endurance brakes (TypeIIA)
2) EVSC brakes
3) Support for ADAS testing (AEBS, LDWS, DDAW, BSIS, MOIS) includes
vehicle preparation & readiness, fitment of instruments/ dummy, driver support, technician support etc
Static tests
1) HLLD, lighting installation
2) Horn installation,
3) Reflective tape installation,
4) FUPD, RUPD, SUPD installation
5) Spray supression installation
Key Dynamic Tests for Heavy Vehicles (List/PDF):
Structural Dynamics & Handling: Lane change response, yaw damping, roll stability, cornering trajectory, and braking stability tests.
Braking Performance: Service brake performance and holding tests (as per AIS-143).
Emission Norms: Type approval testing for BS-VI as per AIS-137 (Part 4).
Safety Tests: Seat anchorages (AIS-023), steering effort, and speedometer calibration.
